PETA Rebrand

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) is one of the largest animal rights organizations in the world, advocating against speciesism and animal cruelty across industries such as food production, fashion, entertainment, and scientific research. Speciesism refers to the belief that one species is superior to others, often leading to the exploitation or mistreatment of animals. It challenges the idea that animals’ needs, emotions, and lives are less valuable than those of humans.

This was a group project focused on rebranding PETA to create a more approachable and engaging communication style around speciesism. My individual contribution was designing a brochure that presents information in a more friendly and accessible way. The brochure uses a colorful visual palette and illustrations of animals engaging in human-like activities to make the content feel more relatable. It provides information on speciesism along with ways to take action, with the goal of making the message more approachable for a wider audience without relying on an overly assertive tone.
